Convert PDF files to WORD in under 5 seconds

Hey Heroes!

You received a PDF and you need to edit the words, or change fonts, add images… and you don’t have Acrobat Pro DC 🤷‍♂️. Bottom line, you need to have that PDF in word format. What options do you have?

There are several webpages that allow you to convert a PDF to word, but there is a simpler way: Microsoft Word.

Office 365 allows you to simply open a PDF and MS Word will automatically convert it to a .docx (word format)

Please not that if the text was an image before it was a PDF or if word cannot recognize the characters, it will return the word document as an image.

So how do you do it?

Easy: Open Microsoft Word, click on file, open and select the PDF you want to convert. Word will prompt you saying “Word will now convert your PDF to an editable Word document. This may take a while. The resulting Word document will be optimized to allow you to edit the text, so it might not look exactly like the original PDF, especially if the original file contained lots of graphics.”
