Use Emojis Everywhere!

Emojis are now a part of day-to-day communication. Some think it is not necessarily professional, others think it adds a touch of familiarity. Did you know that you can use Emojis anywhere on your computer and not only on your cellphone? It is easy to use and can add some flair to your communication exchange.

And yes, it is available for both Windows AND Mac!

How to use it?

If you use Windows:

1.       Place your cursor wherever you want to insert your emoji.

2.       Press Windows logo key + . (period).

3.       The emoji screen will pop up, and then you have 2 options:

a.       Manually search for the emoji you want

b.       Use the search bar! You can type what you are looking for and it will find it immediately.

4.       Use your mouse or your arrow keys to select the emoji and click or enter to insert it.

5.       Press escape to get out of the emoji screen

If you use Mac:

1.       Place your cursor wherever you want to insert your emoji.

2.       Press Control + Command + Spacebar

3.       The emoji screen will pop up, and then you have 2 options:

a.       Manually search for the emoji you want

b.       Use the search bar! You can type what you are looking for and it will find it immediately.

4.       Use your mouse or your arrow keys to select the emoji and click or enter to insert it.

5.       Press escape to get out of the emoji screen

PRO TIP: Within the Emoji screen, the language your key is determines how to search. To get the ☺ emoji for example, if your language is set to ENG you can type “smile”, ESP “sonrisa”, POR “sorriso”.
